Kindergarten Teacher
FULL TIME $25/hour | August 2025 – June 2026

We seek a Kindergarten Teacher to assist our lead teacher in guiding our youngest students through their foundational academic and spiritual development. This is a hands-on, part-time position ideal for someone who is patient, cheerful, organized, and loves working with children.
Responsibilities
Support the lead teacher in delivering core instruction (phonics, handwriting, early math, catechism, nature study, and play-based learning).
Assist with classroom management, student transitions, and daily routines.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
Help prepare materials, set up activities, and maintain an orderly learning space.
Supervise snack, outdoor play, and rest time.
Maintain a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered classroom culture.
Communicate professionally with parents, fellow staff, and administrators.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a school, homeschool, or church setting.
Love for young learners and enthusiasm for nurturing their growth.
Supportive of Saint Andrew Academy’s mission and Orthodox Christian identity.
Reliable, punctual, and joyful team player.
In good standing with an Orthodox Christian parish or a local Christian church.
Schedule & Compensation
$25+/hour
August 2025 – June 2026 academic year
Option to extend or grow into other teaching roles within the Academy
