Bookkeeper

Position Summary 
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support general office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, be proficient in QuickBooks, and maintain accurate financial records to ensure smooth business operations. 

Key Responsibilities 
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks 
• Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner 
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements 
• Prepare and process payroll, including tracking time and benefits 
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and payments 
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports 
• Monitor and manage cash flow and budgeting activities 
• File required tax documents and assist with audits as needed 
• Support administrative functions such as office filing, scheduling, and supply ordering 
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments as needed

Qualifications 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting 
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel 
• Strong organizational and time management skills 
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
