Job description

Established Private Preparatory schools in Rowland Heights, California, seek charismatic Math teachers for part-time positions. Classes are kept small, with fewer than 15 students, to ensure personalized attention. The course is designed to support high school students by reviewing school content and introducing advanced challenge questions and word problems that go beyond the standard curriculum.  Additional hours will be offered for the Fall semester based on performance

 

Class Time:

AP Statistics:  Friday, 9 am - 1 pm online (6/30/25 -8/8/25)  +  Saturday, 2 pm - 6 pm (8/9-8/31) Online

AP Pre-Calculus: Tuesday and Thursday, 2 pm - 5 pm in Rowland Heights, California

Geometry: Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm in Rowland Heights, California

 

 

Semester:  June 30, 2025, to August 8, 2025

 

Candidate should:

  • Have finished a Bachelor's degree
  • Be versed in classroom management
  • The ideal applicant is preliminarily credentialed
  • Have 6 months of teaching or tutoring experience
  • Have experience working with high school students
  • Commit to a set teaching schedule until August 8th
  • College Board Certified for AP Statistics
