Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Teacher to create a positive and enriching learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

*Daily interaction and engagement with children

* Support daily classroom routines and curriculum

* Care and maintenance of the classroom and teaching materials

This is a part time position perfect for individuals who love working with children and may include:

* A former teacher

* An Early Childhood Education student

Schedule:

4- hour shift – 8:30-12:30

Monday to Friday

We follow the SRVUSD calendar for holidays

Job requirements:

- 12 ECE units (completed and/or on-going)

- Current Health/TB screening

- Required immunizations

- CPR/First Aid certification

- DOJ clearance/fingerprinting

- Preschool aged teaching experience (preferred)

- Montessori training/experience a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

 

  • 4 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
