Part Time Pre-K Teacher
Carousel of Learning in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a PT Pre-K Teacher to join our team in late August and continue working for the 2025 - 26 school year. Preferred hours are from 9 AM to 1:30 PM but willing to discuss alternate hours. Our ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is creative, and reliable. This can possibly be a full-time position if preferred.
Teacher Responsibilities
- Follow and/or create lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate
- Employ a variety of hands-on and multi-sensory experiences to create a dynamic and safe learning environment
- Possess an understanding of Process Art
- Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Track children’s progress and communicate with administrators and parents
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Comply with the regulations, standards, and procedures in the NJ Manual of Requirements for Child Care Centers
Qualifications
- BA, BA+, or MA in Education
- Early Childhood Education Majors given priority
- Experience working with children preferred but not required
