ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY

 

POSITION:                 TK TEACHER

 2025/26 School year - 187 days a year

 

LOCATION:              Arbuckle Elementary School

 

Job Summary

Including, but not limited to: Develop course objectives for each assigned area of study, and the Common Core standards. Develop and use daily lesson plans. Establish and manage records of achievement and attendance for each student. Instruct and manage assigned classes to guide, direct and enhance each learner in the achievement of the course objectives. Supervise student activities as assigned. 

Credential Needed: - Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential 

And One of the Following:

 - At least 24 units in early childhood education, or child development, or both

 - As determined and documented by the local educational agency employing the teacher, professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children meeting the criteria established by the governing board or body of the local education agency that is comparable to the 24 units of education

 - A child development teacher permit, or an early childhood education specialist credential, issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing
