Associate, Stadium Operations (Part Time) - July 2025 - July 2027

Position: Associate, Stadium Operations, Temporary/Part-Time - Non-Exempt

Department: Stadium Operations

Reports to: Manager, Stadium Operations

Location: State Farm Stadium (Glendale, AZ)

Format: In-person 

Duration: This is a two-year position from July 2025 – July 2027.

Schedule: 30 hours a week dispersed Monday-Sunday including all State Farm Stadium events which typically take place evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary:

The Associate, Stadium Operations role is responsible for ensuring the best National Football League game day experience takes place at State Farm Stadium. Must support all internal Arizona Cardinals departmental relationships and external relationships - AZSTA, City of Glendale, ASM Global, Craft Culinary Concepts, Insignia Event Services, etc. - in a manner to achieve all related organizational objectives.

 

Primary Job Duties:

The Associate, Stadium Operations role will have the daily responsibilities including, without limitation, to the following:

  • Ensure the success of all Arizona Cardinals and NFL events at State Farm Stadium, including but not limited to all Cardinals home games, Training Camp activities, Annual Draft Party, and private events.
  • Communicate Team's written stadium policies and procedures both internally and externally through the production of print, electronic and signage collateral.
  • Serve as one of the direct contacts for team vendors for preventative and regular maintenance and installation projects for both State Farm Stadium and Sportsman's Park.
  • Coordinate and communicate information to all necessary stadium stakeholders regarding security access, event logistics, project installations, and more.
  • Conduct stadium audits and submit necessary work orders to maintain both the operations and appearance of the stadium spaces and Cardinals' assets.
  • Represent the Arizona Cardinals and State Farm Stadium in a professional, and ethical manner. 
  • Other duties to be assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college
  • Experience:  At least 1-2 years of large-scale sporting event experience preferred
  • Maintain sound decision-making and a positive attitude in stressful situations and in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and/or exert well-paced mobility for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit and work at a desk on a computer
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours will vary depending on business needs
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check
