Senior UI Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a UI Lead to drive the creation of a unified visual language and design system for TruU. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves modernizing our user interfaces across Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Web, creating a cohesive and differentiated experience rooted in subtle, impactful branding.

As part of this visual evolution, we’re looking to bring texture, tactility, and interactivity into the product — drawing inspiration from the most forward-facing elements of modern software design. Our aim is to build an interface that feels alive in the hands of everyday employees, blending function and delight with every interaction.

You will be joining a small, high-output team at a fast-growing cybersecurity startup. This environment requires someone who thrives under pressure, iterates quickly, and works with urgency and intention. The ideal candidate is deeply self-motivated, thrives in ambiguity, and is excited by the opportunity to build, question, and reshape interfaces that define how people interact with secure identity systems.

What You’ll Accomplish

Define and lead the development of a scalable visual language and design system that unifies our multi-platform experience.

Modernize and elevate our user interfaces to deliver seamless, intuitive experiences on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Web.

Infuse interactivity and texture into the design language, creating tactile, expressive interfaces that feel intuitive and responsive to everyday users.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and product leaders to ensure designs are implemented with quality and consistency.

Dive deep into complexity — understanding technical constraints, business drivers, and edge cases to design for real-world scenarios.

Work through ambiguity, making confident decisions even when all the answers aren’t yet clear.

Continuously iterate on design work in response to team feedback, implementation realities, and evolving user needs.

Champion the user and the team — prioritizing impact, execution, and helping the team win over personal ego.
