Whizara is Hiring: In-Person Financial Literacy Instructors (Compton, CA)

Whizara offers student-centered, engaging, and interactive courses for K–12 students. We are currently seeking enthusiastic instructors to teach in-person financial literacy classes in Compton, CA.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Arrive on time and prepared to lead fun, effective, and educational sessions.
• Deliver lessons based on Whizara’s curriculum, while setting goals, motivating, and guiding students.
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback and support to help students meet learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and Whizara staff to ensure program success.
• Offer constructive feedback on curriculum, instructional methods, and class experience.
• Keep classroom space organized and conducive to learning.
• Work independently and demonstrate strong initiative.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Whizara staff via email or phone, as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or current enrollment) in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• College students and experienced tutors are welcome to apply.
• Passion for teaching kids about money management, including earning, saving, spending, budgeting, banking, and investing.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience with K–12 students is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in an in-person classroom setting.
