Analyst Program – Manufacturing Optimization Engineer

The Fiserv Analyst Program is an early career development program where candidates experience two structured assignments within one specific track over a 2-year period. Each assignment will build on the other and provide a breadth of experience within Fintech. The program offers extensive training, mentoring, on-the-job learning, and exposure to senior leadership, positioning you for advancement within Fiserv upon completing the program. 

What does a successful Analyst – Manufacturing Optimization Engineer do?

As a Manufacturing Optimization Engineer Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving process improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. Drawing on your background in mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering, or supply chain management, you will focus on optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions, identify opportunities for improvement, and streamline operations. By demonstrating leadership potential and a strong commitment to excellence in operational excellence, you’ll be well-positioned to grow into a future leader within the organization.

What you will do:

  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.
  • Apply your engineering or supply chain expertise to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Identify areas for optimization and lead projects to streamline processes.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to excellence in process management.

 

What you will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree completed in December 2023 or later in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 3.0+ GPA.
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, from assessment through resolution.
  • Ability to identify risks and propose alternatives, and changing directions. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to new situations, shifting priorities, and changing directions. 
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new technical applications.
