$21.11 to $23.22 hourly.  Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.  Government Center/Viera.  Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and may include overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.  Performs skilled crafts and trades work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures and accessories. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:  Three (3) years of experience as a plumber.   Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSMust possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment.  Must be able to pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check administered by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.  In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
