Job Summary
The role of the Credit Risk Coordinator is to support the credit functions of the Portfolio Credit Risk Review team.  The role will primarily test borrowers’ compliance with financial covenants for loans within the bank’s existing loan portfolio.  The role will also assist Credit and Special Assets teams on an as needed basis.   The Credit Risk Coordinator will access financial documents within the bank’s file storage system to properly calculate and submit for approval or further review covenant checks performed within the Bank’s Loan Origination System.  
Essential Job Functions
• Ensure timely testing and compliance of loan financial covenants
• Work closely with the SVP/Director of Portfolio Credit Risk to determine the degree of risk involved for individual loans within the portfolio 
• Pull supplemental analysis data with research and evaluations from a wide variety of sources such as the Bank’s data systems, Internet, Dunn & Bradstreet, ProSight (fka RMA), CoStar, and general market data 
• Assist with monitoring the collection of financial reporting requirements and clearing of items on loan exception reports
• Ensure the accuracy of financial and covenant ticklers and subsequent reports
• Assist with the review and processing of Borrowing Base Certificates through the bank’s software
• Assist with the monitoring and tracking of the bank’s Exception Monitored loan portfolio
• Perform other duties as assigned 
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or 1 - 3 years of related work experience in a financial related industry
• Ability to communicate effectively in a logical and succinct format, verbally or in writing
• Ability to be detail oriented, multi-task and perform duties with limited supervision 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to prioritize and organize assignments and meet strict deadlines
Desired Skills
• Understanding of the components of various financial statement types and formats
• Understanding of commercial lending products, the lending process, commercial loan documents and common loan terms in credit files
Essential Functions
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time
• Must be able to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
• Ability to converse and exchange information with all levels of staff within the organization
• Ability to observe, perceive, and identify data
• Ability to travel via air, rail, automobile, and/or bus
