Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive new partnership opportunities within the product Ecommerce space. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, proactive, and relationship-driven, with a knack for identifying businesses that can benefit from expert support in launching and scaling their brands online.
Key Responsibilities
Identify & Prospect New Partners: Research and connect with product-based businesses that are primed for growth on Amazon, Meta, TikTok, and beyond.
Lead Generation: Engage in outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to initiate conversations with potential partners.
Networking & Tradeshows: Attend industry tradeshows, conferences, and networking events to establish relationships and uncover new opportunities.
Qualify Opportunities: Understand prospective clients’ business goals, challenges, and readiness for Ecommerce scaling.
Collaborate with Marketing & Sales: Work closely with internal teams to transition qualified leads into the sales pipeline and develop tailored solutions for potential partners.
Market Insights: Stay informed on ecommerce trends, competitor activity, and platform developments to identify strategic opportunities.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in business development, customer success, sales, or customer service, ideally within ecommerce, digital marketing, or SaaS.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbal.
Comfortable making nurturing leads, prospecting, cold calls
Willingness to travel to industry tradeshows and events.
Familiarity with Amazon, Meta Ads, TikTok marketing, and ecommerce platforms is a plus.
Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
