Grant Writer (Non-Profit)

Position Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented, persuasive Grant Writer to identify, research, and write compelling grant proposals. You’ll collaborate with program staff to gather data, align funding strategies with our mission, and manage deadlines. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about making a tangible difference through strategic fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research foundations, corporate, and government grant opportunities
  • Craft clear, compelling proposals, LOIs, and budgets
  • Coordinate with staff to collect data, narratives, and outcome measurements
  • Maintain a grants calendar and track application/reporting deadlines
  • Prepare post-award reports, compliance documents, and impact summaries

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree along with Grant writing experience in a nonprofit setting OR Bachelor’s degree (Nonprofit Mgmt, English, Communications, or related)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and budget-preparation skills
  • Strong ability to interpret data and tell persuasive impact stories
  • Proficiency with MS Office & Google Workspace 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
