Field Marketing Associate

Job Summary:
Scoop Commute (www.scoopcommute.com) is looking for a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to support our onsite marketing efforts at customer locations in the Peninsula area. This role is perfect for a business, marketing, or communications major interested in gaining hands-on experience in a tech startup environment while making a real impact. The Marketing Intern will engage with employees to promote our carpooling app, answer user questions, collaborate with onsite contacts to facilitate contests, and participate in other field marketing activities. Additionally, they will contribute to digital marketing efforts, including email content creation, social media posts, and other promotional initiatives targeted at customers and users in the Seattle area.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite marketing activities at customer locations to drive awareness and adoption of the Scoop Commute app.
  • Engage with employees, answer questions, and educate them about the benefits of Scoop Commute.
  • Collaborate with onsite contacts to organize and promote contests and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, including email content and social media posts.
  • Support marketing campaigns aimed at increasing user engagement and brand awareness in the Seattle area.
  • Gather feedback from users and report insights to the Scoop Commute team.
  • Represent Scoop Commute in a professional and enthusiastic manner at all times.

Who You Are / What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Enthusiastic about working with a tech startup and eager to make a meaningful impact.
  • Comfortable engaging with people in-person and answering questions.
  • Reliable and self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation (car required).
  • Available to work 10-12 hours per week, with flexibility for scheduling but expected to work at least twice per week, sometimes three times.

Compensation:

  • $20/hour
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments
