Requirements:

Valid Nevada license to practice general dentistry
Training in Invisalign and implants preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for working with all age ranges and creating positive dental experiences
Dedication to continuous learning and professional development

Job Responsibilities:

1. Preventive Care and Patient Education

• Perform routine exams, cleanings, and screenings to prevent oral health issues.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and diet to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to prevent tooth decay.

2. Diagnosis and Treatment of Oral Health Issues

• Diagnose dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, oral infections, and oral cancer through clinical examination and X-rays.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions.
• Treat issues like tooth decay, cavities, and gum disease with fillings, scaling and root planning, and other standard procedures.

3. Restorative Procedures

• Perform a variety of restorative treatments, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures, to restore function and aesthetics.
• Conduct root canal treatments to save damaged or infected teeth.
• Place and restore dental implants or refer patients to specialists if necessary.

4. Cosmetic Dentistry

• Provide cosmetic procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding to improve the appearance of patients' smiles.
• Advise patients on cosmetic options and manage aesthetic concerns while ensuring the integrity of oral health.

5. Minor Surgical Procedures

• Extract teeth when necessary, including wisdom teeth and non-restorable teeth.
• Perform minor oral surgery, such as biopsies or incision and drainage for infections.

6. Emergency Care

• Treat dental emergencies, including broken or knocked-out teeth, severe toothaches, and infections.
• Provide immediate care and pain relief, offering guidance on post-emergency care.

7. Patient Management and Communication

• Communicate effectively with patients to explain treatment options, procedures, and preventive measures.
• Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Provide reassurance and maintain patient comfort during procedures, addressing concerns and managing anxiety.

8. Collaboration and Referrals

• Refer patients to dental specialists, such as orthodontists, periodontists, or oral surgeons, for specialized care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed for comprehensive treatment, especially for patients with complex medical histories.
