Account Manager- Indianapolis, IN

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in our Indianapolis, IN location. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our customer base, while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our sales team to identify and qualify prospects, and develop and implement strategies to achieve sales growth. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to build strong relationships with customers, provide exceptional customer service, and meet or exceed sales targets.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 with commission. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license and personal transportation required
  • 3-4 years of experience in sales or account management
  • Strongly self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
  • Experience with solution selling and sales process
  • Experience with business development and account management
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate understanding of market potential by increasing customer base and growing sales
  • Maintain and grow established customer relationships to identify new opportunities and increase sales
  • Manage accounts to ensure customer's contact and business information is kept up to date within our computer system
  • Utilize personal expertise and company resources to proactively determine customer's needs and respond with appropriate solutions in a timely manner
  • Complete, implement, and follow up on annual business plans using appropriate software and keep all interested parties informed of significant changes
