Babysitter for 2.5-Year-Old – Weekday Afternoons/Evenings

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible, caring, and energetic babysitter to care for our 2.5-year-old toddler in Moraga. She is in daycare 8-4:30 pm but I need help in the evenings after pick up. This is a part-time position ideal for a student with experience working with young children. Ideally start ASAP and continue once I have a new baby on August.  the babysitter's primary responsiltiy will be help with the 2.5 year old toddler. 

Responsibilities:

Engage in age-appropriate play and activities

Supervise meals/snacks

Handle bathroom assistance as needed (toddler is potty trained)

Ensure child safety at all times, but the motehr will alwasy eb present as well

Light tidying related to childcare (e.g., toys, dishes used)

Schedule:

5 weekday afternoons/evenings per week ( a min of 3 weekday afternoons)

Approximately 2–3 hours per shift (flexible based on your schedule)

Location:

Private home near Saint Mary’s College campus (Lafayette a short drive from Moraga). Also am fleixbly meeting at Moraga commons for play.

Pay:

$20–25 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements:

Experience with toddlers

Strong sense of responsibility

CPR certification (preferred but not required)

References upon request
