Case Manager

The Bridge Fund is a small nonprofit that prevents homelessness among the working poor by providing a combination of services and modest financial assistance to working-poor clients in imminent danger of eviction.

The Bridge Fund of New York Inc seeks a bright and highly motivated individual to work full-time as a Case Manager, providing rental assistance and services to working-poor families and individuals facing eviction or foreclosure in Westchester County. Our office in White Plains is centrally located, accessible by public transportation, and accepts client referrals from numerous community-based organizations and local governments throughout the county.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing and assessing clients for our financial assistance, plus outside benefits and services
  • Providing individual budget counseling
  • Leveraging outside funds for our clients’ rental arrears
  • Monitoring clients
  • Assisting with special projects, as needed

The successful job candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience providing direct client or constituent services. He/she must have strong organizational and critical thinking skills, plus excellent communication skills (both verbal and writing). A bachelor’s degree is required, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft   Fluency is Spanish is helpful.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually. The Salary Range is an estimated range, based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to experience, skill set and completed education.
