Registration Clerk

We have an exciting full-time job opportunity as Registration Clerk working Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As Registration Clerk, you will be the first person our employees, program participants, community members, and visitors see when approaching the front desk at the Administrative Office Building. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Using personal vehicle, collect and distribute interoffice mail and deliver to local area
- Process brick paver orders.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Assist customers registering for programs and activities.
- Process program registrations, pool pass registrations and create pool pass ID cards.
- Book picnic permits.
- Assist with class cancellations/expansions
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the Registration Software System and its components.
- Open/Close building and office area.
- Create and post signs on bulletin boards and doors.
- Process cash, check and credit card refunds.
- Run daily report, balance and batch out, and make daily bank deposits.
- Assist with Bulk Mailings.
- Assist with Big Logs and Bid Receipts.
- Backup for board meeting recording secretary when necessary.
- Check weekly newspaper articles.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- High school or trade school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of customer service
- Valid Illinois driver’s license
- Proficiency in computer word-processing and spreadsheet applications and registration software
WHEN YOU’LL WORK:
- You'll work 40-hours per week with a schedule of Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

- For internal equity and budgetary considerations, the anticipated starting pay for this non-exempt position is set at $48,929/year.
- This position falls under Pay Grade 3 with a pay range of $48,929-$68,502.
