Job description for Quality Engineer:
 
• Support the maintenance of ISO9001 and AS9100 systems and perform internal audits.
• Liaison to external auditors, and customer audit reviews. Participate in Supplier Quality Audits.
• Generate in-process and final inspection methods documentation defining and utilizing proper inspection techniques and tools.
• Prepare and/or review Delta FAIRs, UPPAP, and First Article Package for customer approval.
• Prepare, and submit deviation requests for approval using customer portals based on customer requirements.
• Identify and implement ideas that will improve inspection methods or enhance the effectiveness of the inspection process and Quality Management System.
• Promote changes supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Lead Six Sigma, Kaizen and other Lean Manufacturing programs and philosophies.
• Maintains CMM program library, and coordinate calibration and maintenance of CMM machines. May write programs for CMM machines in PC-DMIS.
• Support business development by participating in customer contract reviews
