About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and client-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role can be full-time or part-time. You will support our bespoke operations, manage client communications, and ensure an exceptional experience across all client touchpoints—including online channels.
What You’ll Do
- Manage client communication (emails, texts, CRM) for both The Tailory New York and our sister brand SHAO New York
- Handle appointment scheduling, daily calendars, and event planning
- Maintain a clean, high-end showroom ready for fittings and guests
- Oversee atelier upkeep and support daily studio operations
- Track custom orders and coordinate with tailoring & design teams
- Manage Shopify updates and basic site maintenance
- Supervise VA and intern tasks to support team workflow
Who You Are
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Excellent communication skills—comfortable calling clients, responding to emails, and managing live chat in a luxury brand voice.
- Experienced in CRM software (Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms).
- Familiarity with online customer service platforms (such as Chatty or similar live chat tools) is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience working in a fashion atelier, luxury retail, or with bespoke/custom clothing is a strong plus.
- Able to work on-site in our SoHo studio Tuesday through Saturday
- Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism.
- Positive attitude, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
