Dental Hygienist - Immediate hire, flexible hours!
Registered Dental Hygienist needed at Park Street Dental, a private family practice located in Westborough, MA. Our focus is on providing excellent dental care for our patients. We have an up-to-date dental environment, with digital x-rays, and electronic charting. We are seeking a Hygienist with great patient rapport and an interest in working with our friendly team. This can be a full-time or part-time position - we are open to working with your schedule on which days and hours work best for you.

Responsibilities:
- Performing dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, fluoride, sealants, and scaling/root planing.
- Assessments of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and documenting any abnormalities or suspected conditions.
- Customizing care to meet patient's oral health.
- Taking dental radiographs.
- Removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth.
- Applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides).
- Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling).
- Documenting patient treatment activities in clinical records.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Dental Hygiene.
- Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in Massachusetts.
- Anesthesia licensure in MA preferred.
- Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis digital radiographs, preferred
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care.
- Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices.
