Director of Education

The Sciencenter is searching for a creative and visionary leader with a strong
commitment to building dynamic, inclusive, and collaborative education experiences
that positively impact the local and national communities that the Sciencenter serves.

The Director of Education is a key member of the staff involved in developing,
implementing and overseeing the museum’s facilitated experiences in a variety of
STEM topics, including onsite and offsite programs, local, regional and national
partnerships, and volunteer programs.

This role will be responsible for leading a strong, experienced, mission-driven team. A
proven ability to conceptualize and articulate innovative museum programs, manage
grant and funded programs, as well as budgeting, time management and leadership,
are considered essential components of this position.
