Citizens Bank is seeking Investment Banking Analysts to join the Capital Markets & Advisory (“CM&A”) team. Analysts work closely with the team’s junior and senior professionals preparing, analyzing, and executing investment banking related transactions, primarily within the U.S. middle market.
Analysts are assigned to active and prospective engagement teams across multiple industries within our core areas of focus and have the opportunity to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
Mergers & Acquisitions – Atlanta, GA
Our M&A investment bankers in Atlanta provide sell-side and buy-side advisory services for middle market sponsors and founders/owners. Teams are organized by industry, including Commercial & Industrial Services, Healthcare, Human Capital Management, and Software. Each sector team focuses exclusively on its industry and provides true sector expertise to investors and founders.
Preferred Qualifications

- Current students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, graduating between Winter 2025 – Spring 2026
- Minimum GPA of 3.2; Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Please include your cumulative GPA on your resume.
- Relevant work experience, leadership experience and coursework in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred but all majors will be considered.
- Strong analytical skills and software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency is required.
- Candidates must currently be a U.S. Resident to be eligible for this program.
- Please note that U.S. Immigration sponsorship or work visa is not available for intern / full-time Analyst positions and candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
