The City is seeking a dynamic and experienced Surveyor to provide and oversee all surveying services for the Department of Public Works’ Engineering division. This pivotal role drafts and records legal descriptions for properties and maps, provides technical support for survey efforts relative to numerous construction projects, leads field investigations around the community, and so much more. Qualifications
Registered Professional Land Surveyor with three to five years of public works experience preferred. An ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Auto Cad or other surveying software, knowledge of civil engineering mathematics, knowledge of land surveying, field work, and the ability to develop employee professionalism and growth.
Salary
The 2025 hiring salary range for this position is $62,712 - $94,078 annually, plus an excellent fringe benefit package including paid time off, health, life, dental, and Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is among the best funded and best managed public pension systems in the country.
