We are looking for a lead chocolatier who loves working with chocolate and can lead a small team. This is a hands-on role for a creative and efficient professional who can produce high-quality confections quickly and with precision. 

Responsibilities

  • Production & Design: Lead daily production of chocolate confections and select pastries. This includes tempering, molding, decorating, and developing new products while maintaining high standards for quality and presentation.
  • Merchandising: Package and label products, assemble gift baskets, and create visually appealing displays.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring a smooth workflow and a positive work environment.
  • Customer & Event Engagement: Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge on the retail floor. Assist with catering events and private parties.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while ensuring product quality and consistency.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience/Training in chocolate and/or pastry making.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A creative eye for design and a passion for new product development.
  • Customer service or event experience is a plus.
  • Must be available to work most weekends and holidays.
