Content Marketer

About the Position: 

We’re looking for a creative and driven Marketing Assistant to support digital storytelling and expand Treetops Resort’s online presence. In this role, you'll help grow our social media channels, create engaging visual content, and collaborate with departments across the property to showcase the full Treetops experience—from the courses and slopes to our lodging and events. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of current trends, a passion for outdoor recreation, and a natural flair for creating content that builds brand awareness and sparks audience engagement. 

 

Schedule: 


This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Tuesday to Saturday. Some evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required during special events or seasonal activities. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute the creation, editing, and publishing of engaging content, including photos, videos, and short form reels for social, email, and web 
  • Plan, capture, and produce original content—photography, video, and short-form reels—for social, email, and web 
  • Assist in managing and growing Treetops Resort’s social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube 
  • Maintain the company’s content calendar with a blend of scheduled campaigns and timely, real-time content 
  • Assist in setting up and monitoring paid social ad campaigns that align with resort priorities and seasonal marketing goals 
  • Edit and format content using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms to ensure visual consistency and quality 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (golf, ski, lodging, events) to source stories, access visuals, and promote activations 
  • Track and report on social media engagement metrics; suggest adjustments based on performance insights 
  • Other Duties as needed. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Background or strong interest in golf preferred; understanding of the sport and its culture is a valuable asset 
  • Experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization (internships and part-time roles considered) 
  • Familiarity with visual content creation, including photography, video capture, and editing 
  • Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and scheduling platforms (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Later, or Hootsuite) 
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment 
  • Ability to adapt to outdoor, on-location content shoots in a variety of weather and resort conditions 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and timelines 
  • Passion for storytelling, digital trends, and outdoor recreation 
  • Portfolio of content creation work is not required but strongly encouraged.
