Hope and Healing Counseling Center LLC is a company in Abingdon, VA 24210. Our goal is to provide quality mental health services to those in our community in need and therefore we hire only quality mental health professionals.

HHCC employs Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists AND those who are License-Eligible (working towards LPC/LCSW/LMFT). We have recognized a great need in our community for a Clinical Psychologist to provide full psychological assessments with accurate diagnoses to drive treatment plan goals which ultimately result in more positive outcomes for counselors and their clients. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing psychological services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions in both outpatient

The position of Clinical Psychologist requires someone who is self-motivated, driven, punctual, well organized, and good at time management. Core Responsibilities of this position are to provide quality functional assessments of individuals with mental health challenges, provision of psychological interventions, and collaboration with other professionals while strictly adhering to the Ethical Codes and Standards of the profession. The incumbent of this position will be expected to maintain all training and requirements to maintain professional licensure in the State of Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (transcript must be submitted with resume/CV)
  • Hold current, full, and unrestricted licensure to practice Clinical Psychology on the doctoral level in the State of Virginia and be in good standing with the Board
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing
  • Must adhere to Ethical Codes and Standards of the profession
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Must demonstrate experience in administering, interpreting, and applying psychological assessment and intervention methods for individuals with mental health challenges
  • Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate interpersonally, orally, and written with individuals with mental health challenges, their families, and other professionals
  • Must demonstrate ability to provide individual psychotherapy
  • Must be a person of integrity who values trust, honor/respect, authenticity, commitment, connection and support and have a heart for those in need

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
