CNC Machine Operator - Dixon Quick Coupling

Location: Dallas, NC | Full-Time | 3rd Shift - 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, producing precision components that are integral to our high-performance coupling systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and be part of a dynamic and collaborative team!

A successful candidate will operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components and inspect products to drawing specifications. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform inspections. Ideal candidates should be able to recognize machining issues and make necessary adjustments.

🔧What You’ll Do:

  • Operate multiple CNC machines.
  • Perform daily maintenance activities.
  • Participate in training and learn about Dixon products.
  • Work as a team member.
  • Work safely around equipment and coworkers.
  • Be flexible with rotating assignments.

🎯What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
  • Good aptitude for math, mechanics and computers
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to use hand tools and read blueprints
  • Manufacturing or machine shop experience is also needed.
  • Ability to develop programming skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls a plus!
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, a plus!
  • Willingness to learn new things and be part of a team
