Marketing & Social Media Assistant (Part-Time, Flexible, Paid)

Location: Houston, TX (remote + occasional in-person optional)

About Us: We are a private therapy practice in Houston focused on supporting individuals, children, and families. Our mission is to provide accessible, compassionate care while building a stronger presence in the Houston community. We’re looking for a creative student who wants hands-on marketing experience and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Marketing & Social Media Assistant to help grow our online presence, improve community outreach, and attract more self-pay clients. This role is perfect for a student studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field who wants to apply classroom skills in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities: - Create and schedule engaging content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) - Assist with basic graphic design and post creation (Canva or similar tools) 

- Help improve website visibility (SEO basics, blog support) - Research local online opportunities (directories, community listings, etc.) 

- Track social media and ad performance, providing simple reports

 -Brainstorm creative ways to reach Houston-area clients online

Qualifications: - Current student (Marketing, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related major preferred) 

- Strong interest in digital marketing and branding - Familiar with social media

platforms and trends 

- Basic knowledge of Canva, Google, or other design tools is a plus 

- Reliable, organized, and creative mindset

Compensation & Hours: - $14–$16/hour - 5–10 hours per week (flexible around class schedule) 

-Hybrid role (remote with optional occasional meet-ups)
