Recess Aide

C.S. Lewis Academy is accepting applications for a Recess Aide for the 2025-2026 school year.  Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.

Duties include:

  • The Recess Aides are responsible for ensuring that the school's health, safety and playground rules are followed.
  • Interact with students and encourage appropriate play.
  • The Recess Aides oversee students during recess periods. 
  • Address behavior issues following CSLA protocols. Refer problems to teachers if necessary.
  • Maintain proper utilization of playground equipment

Position Needed:  This position is part-time, 9:00 am – 12:15 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  10:30 - 12:15 on Wednesday’s ONLY (Late Start).

Hourly rate: $17.00
