The Performance Annotation Specialist is a practitioner who brings professional insight from acting, coaching, and facial expertise to the analysis of human performance. In this role, you will annotate subtle expressive cues such as micro-expressions, posture shifts, gesture timing, hand signaling, and fine details that elevate generative models from mechanical replication to human-like authenticity.

This role supports the mission of training AI systems to capture the richness of human communication. Your work will ensure that models reflect not only what people say, but how they perform, including their emotional beats, physical presence, and expressive nuance.

+ Responsibilities

Annotate recorded performances with detailed markers for micro-expressions, posture, gesture, and facial dynamics.

Provide expert judgment in ambiguous cases (e.g., layered emotions, conflicting cues).

+ Who We Are Looking For

Acting coaches, performance specialists, or facial movement experts with deep experience in expressive performance who are familiar with micro-expressions, gesture analysis, and storytelling.

Comfortable applying structured annotation protocols to nuanced, creative material.

Strong observational skills, with an ability to translate artistic judgments into data.
