
Office Assistant/Coordinator, Back Office Support

Responsibilities
As a Back Office Assistant at Jade Optical, you will:
- Manage order fulfillment: process and track orders accurately to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Conduct order audits: verify accuracy of orders, resolve discrepancies, and maintain high standards of quality control
- Oversee inventory management: monitor stock levels, organize storage areas, and assist with restocking and ordering supplies
- Support operational tasks: assist with documentation, data entry, and other administrative duties that keep the back office running smoothly
- Collaborate across departments: work closely with sales and other team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow
- Cross-train with sales: gradually build knowledge of sales processes to provide backup support and broaden your skill set
- Embody Jade Optical’s values: contribute to a positive team culture through professionalism, accountability, empathy, and a focus on growth
Schedule
- Full-time, Tuesday–Saturday
- Weekdays: 9 AM – 6 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Saturdays: 9 AM – 4 PM
- Sundays & Mondays: Off
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required to support our diverse customer community
- We value practical skills, emotional intelligence, and a willingness to learn. Formal education is not required for this role.
- Experience in administration, retail, or customer service is welcomed and appreciated.
- Emotional intelligence: empathy, adaptability, and clear communication.
- Reliability and accountability in daily tasks.
