About Threebie
Threebie is a pre-launch grocery tech startup based in Los Angeles. We’re creating a “universal grocery shopping and fulfillment platform” that connects stores, products, and customers. Our infrastructure is based on a microservices architecture model and leverages bare-metal servers and the modern open-source ecosystem, optimized to run on Linux.

We’re looking for a self-driven, hands-on, systems thinker to join our team as a data engineer responsible for creating ETL pipelines and workflows using Python and coordinating with systems engineers to prototype, debug, and deploy a FastAPI-based middleware for interaction with backend PostgreSQL databases.

About the role

• Clear specs and parameters will be defined; you will work closely with senior engineers to execute.
• Room for autonomy, mentorship, and collaboration.
• Work will be performed on an assigned macOS computer made accessible to you remotely
• NDA required

Stack you’ll use: Python, MinIO (S3), PostgreSQL, Rocky Linux (RHEL), GitLab CI/CD, and various remote AI retrieval models.
