Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in the structural design and fabrication of engineered wood systems.

Key Responsibilities

Support senior engineers in the design and analysis of glulam beams, arches, trusses, and structural wood systems.

Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and engineering documentation.

Review and assist in producing shop drawings and design details.

Coordinate with drafting, production, and construction teams to ensure design intent and accuracy.

Participate in site visits and inspections to gain practical field experience.

Stay current with structural design codes, standards, and timber engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field (required).

Strong academic knowledge in structural analysis, mechanics of materials, and wood/timber design.

Familiarity with design codes such as NDS, ASCE 7, and IBC is preferred.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and structural analysis software (RISA, SAP2000, STAAD, or similar) is a plus.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
