Senior Pastor
Rise Church is seeking a senior pastor for its campus in Dyer, IN.
We are a Bible believing, Bible teaching, and independently governed congregation located outside Chicago in Dyer, IN. Our focus is to live and love like Jesus.
The Lead Pastor of Rise Church will partner with the current eldership in providing spiritual guidance, general oversight and leadership to the congregation, fostering spiritual growth, community engagement, and the fulfillment of the church’s mission and vision. This role requires a dedicated servant-leader committed to biblical teaching and compassionate care.
Rise Church was established in 2018. We have an average weekly attendance of 70 people, and ministries including children, students, men’s, women’s, and the Deaf. Responsibilities of the senior pastor:
- Preach and help plan the Sunday morning services.
- Collaborate with Worship Leader, Children’s ministry leaders, and other church programs to shepherd churchgoers and develop spiritual formation.
- Alongside the elders, implement the vision of Rise Church.
- Oversee church staff and facilitate regular church staff meetings.
- Conduct baptisms, weddings, and other ceremonies at the church.
- Visit shut-ins and those in the hospital in conjunction with the elders.
- Help the elders build and execute the strategic vision for the church.
Compensation: approximately $65,000; health insurance is available.
