Overview
Are you passionate about LEGO Robotics? We’re seeking an energetic LEGO Robotics Instructor to engage students in middle school grades through hands-on classes. This position blends teaching, mentorship, and STEM exploration, giving students opportunities to practice teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity while building and programming robots.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 60-minute robotics sessions each week using provided lesson plans
- Demonstrate and guide students through building and coding projects step by step
- Maintain a positive, well-managed, and safe classroom environment
- Foster teamwork, persistence, and curiosity among students
- Provide support and encouragement as students tackle challenges
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational, camp, or enrichment settings
- Familiarity with LEGO Robotics platforms (EV3, Mindstorms, NXT, or LEGO League)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed for the full Fall term
- Enthusiasm for STEM education and inspiring the next generation of learners
