Part-Time Remote Sales Development Rep 

(Flexible Hours – College Students Welcome)

Thor Software, LLC – Remote

Contract type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Hours: 15 hrs/week (flexible)

Pay: $16/hour base + $150 per qualified appointment (average ~$25/hour with bonuses)

About Thor

Thor Software helps manufacturers and distributors reduce outstanding invoices by alerting them to their customer’s credit risk and automating collections. We’re a fast-growing software startup working with companies across the U.S. — and we’re looking for a motivated college student to join our sales team part-time.

You’ll gain real-world experience in sales, new product development, and startups — all while working flexible hours from anywhere.

What You’ll Do

  • Make 20+ outbound calls per hour to businesses (leads and sales tools provided)
  • Follow a short call script and introduce Thor’s software
  • Handle basic objections and schedule demo calls with decision-makers
  • Record call outcomes in our CRM
  • Send short daily summaries of calls and results

What You’ll Learn

  • How to cold call and qualify leads in a B2B environment
  • Professional communication and objection handling
  • Sales technology tools (CRM, dialers, and automation)
  • How to pitch software solutions confidently

We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in college (any major)
  • Interested in a career in sales
  • Clear, confident phone presence
  • Organized, consistent, and resilient to rejection
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet space for calls
  • No prior sales experience required — we’ll train you!

(Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or fundraising is a plus.)

Pay & Perks

  • $16/hour base pay
  • $150 bonus per qualified appointment set
