Account Coordinator - Social Impact

As the Account Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to provide support to account management. This includes account administration, organization of client initiatives, drafting of PR reports, and upkeep of the editorial calendar. Additionally, you will play a critical role in project management tasks, such as creating project timelines, closely monitoring progress, and immediately alerting leaders of any potential issues that may arise.
As an essential team member, you will also coordinate and attend client meetings, During these meetings, you will take detailed notes and provide accurate summaries to all parties involved. Your contribution to the thought leadership process is equally important, as you will actively participate in client brainstorming and contribute to the creation of innovative ideas.
By consistently delivering exceptional support, you will not only ensure the smooth functioning of the team but also help maintain and enhance our client relationships.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Draft PR Reports: Create the first draft of weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reports and submit those to the Assistant Account Executive. Distribute when approved.
- Maintain and organize all client initiatives: This includes scheduling calls, recording notes, sending coverage alerts when requested and/or secured, and keeping to timeliness.
- Pursue & develop media relationships: Actively pursue and develop new relationships with influencers and stakeholders in media, talent and other areas of importance for the agency and clients.
- Maintain editorial calendar: Collecting and maintaining editorial calendars for all "top-tier" targets for a specific client.
- Collaborate on thought leadership: Participate in client brainstorming and idea creation. Create and manage thought leadership calendar, similar to editorial calendar management. Monitor monthly new thought leadership opportunities and flag opportunities when they are a few months out.
- Keep a finger on the pulse: Keep up on the latest trends in the media and PR/storytelling landscape.

Qualifications
- At least one full year of PR internship experience.
- (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in relevant field
