Role

Marketing & Operations Associate (Contract, On-Site NYC)

Open-ended contract (full-time hours). You’ll keep our sourcing, production, and client operations running smoothly while supporting growth initiatives.

What you'll do:

Marketing

  • Market & Competitive Analysis - Research jewelry trends, pricing, consumer behavior, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities
  • Growth & Sales Initiatives - Support strategic projects like improving the online customer journey, evaluating new sales channels (e.g., TikTok Shop, partnerships), and leading online promotion efforts

Operations

  • Diamond Sourcing & Vendor Coordination – Manage sourcing requests, vendor communication, and ensure timely delivery of stones.
  • Jewelry Operations – Oversee production timelines, quality control, and coordination between workshops and suppliers.
  • Memo & Invoice Preparation – Prepare, track, and manage memos, invoices, and related documentation with accuracy and efficiency.

Tools you’ll use

Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets), Sheets/Excel (intermediate), Shopify, Xero, Canva, TikTok Shop/Instagram, shipping portals (FedEx/Malca-Amit)

 

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years in operations or coordination; process mindset and strong follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and vendor/client coordination.
  • Customer-service orientation.
  • Jewelry experience a plus. GIA education a plus.
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Fashion, Luxury, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Details

  • Location:  New York, NY | On-Site (5 Days/Week)
  • Schedule: ~40 hrs/wk; core hours 9:30am–5:30pm; occasional peak-season support.
  • Contract Type: 1099 independent contractor
  • Compensation:  $22–$30/hour (annualized $40–$60k equivalent), based on experience.
