Sustainability Analyst
Tuck Advisors is a M&A advisory firm that helps purpose-driven companies with mergers and acquisitions. We have historically worked primarily with healthcare and education companies and are looking to expand our work into the sustainability space. To support this expansion, we are seeking to recruit undergraduate interns to work in a FT sustainability analyst role this summer. Your primary responsibility would be to help design, research, and build the foundation of Tuck Advisors’ sustainability practice, alongside our sustainability advisor, Lisa Bowers.
This role is ideal for someone who is analytically strong, deeply curious about sustainability, and excited about building something from the ground up.
Deadlines:
We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
What you can expect:
This Analyst role is different from a traditional investment banking internship. You will work closely with senior team members to:
- Shape how sustainability is defined, evaluated, and integrated into Tuck Advisors’ work
- Research sustainability trends, frameworks, and companies
- Help position Tuck Advisors as a thoughtful, credible advisor in sustainability-driven transactions
At Tuck Advisors, we value quality education and preparedness. Prior to your internship, you will receive in-depth investment banking training from our senior leaders and current analysts. Training will cover all the topics you need to hit the ground running. Analysts are expected to think creatively, confidently offer their input, and add value to the team from day one.
We are not a testosterone-charged firm -- if that’s your thing, please look elsewhere. We want you to bring your real self, and not wear a “mask” to work.
Candidate Qualifications:
● You are a nice person
● You have a positive attitude
● You care about details
● You are good at research
● You have a minimum 3.9 GPA
Position responsibilities:
Analysts participate in all aspects of the firm’s work, both client-facing and internal development. Past interns have gone on to Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, McKinsey, Bain, BCG, and Amazon, Google, and many others.
Responsibilities during the internship include building and maintaining a pipeline of target buyers and sellers in the sustainability space, analyzing financial information, and conducting analysis on company and market data.
Students will work remotely, provided they have access to fast wi-fi and a professional setting.
