B2B Door-to-Door Sales Representative

Location: Chicagoland Area (DuPage, Will, Kankakee, DeKalb, LaSalle Counties)

Expansion Markets: Peoria & Bloomington

Compensation: Base Salary (depending on experience) + Commission (OTE $100K–$200K+)

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated, high-energy B2B Door-to-Door Sales Representatives to drive new commercial business throughout the Chicagoland area. This role focuses on engaging local businesses directly to introduce energy savings solutions and schedule consultations.

This is an excellent opportunity for driven individuals — including recent college graduates — who are confident, professional, and comfortable prospecting during business hours. Commercial B2B knocking experience is strongly preferred.

  • Commercial Solar
  • Battery Storage Systems

  • Commercial Window Solutions
  • Energy Efficiency Programs (ComEd)
  • Power Analysis & Energy Management Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct B2B door-to-door prospecting throughout the Chicago land area
  • Introduce energy savings and infrastructure solutions to business owners and decision-makers
  • Set qualified appointments and generate new sales opportunities
  • Attend local events such as county fairs, manufacturing expos, and business networking events
  • Travel within the greater Chicagoland territory (expanding to Peoria and Bloomington)
  • Maintain consistent daily activity and reporting

Compensation

  • Base salary (commensurate with B2B knocking experience)
  • Commission per closed deal: $2,000 – $12,000+ per project (larger systems generate higher payouts)
  • On-target earnings: $100K–$200K+ annually
  • Gas card provided
  • Airbnb accommodations covered for travel territories

Requirements

  • B2B door-to-door or outside sales experience preferred (commercial experience a plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle
  • Willingness to travel within designated Illinois counties
