About Us
Lonestar Builders is a commercial real estate development and construction company
specializing in car washes and multifamily housing throughout Utah, Colorado, California,
Arizona & Texas.

The Role
We are seeking a talented Estimator who can accurately read plans, prepare comprehensive
cost estimates, and contribute to the success of our construction projects. This individual
will play a key role in budgeting, bidding, and vendor negotiations, while ensuring efficiency
in every stage of the construction process.

What You’ll Do
 Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
 Negotiate pricing and assemble project budgets
 Break down construction drawings and quantify all required items
 Perform material take-offs for all scopes of work
 Contract and negotiate scope/pricing with subcontractors
 Utilize Excel, Bluebeam, Word, and project management software to streamline work
 Support project leadership and accounts payable teams with accurate estimates

What We’re Looking For
 3+ years estimating experience (preferred) OR relevant construction industry
background
 Strong organizational, prioritization, and data-entry skills
 Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and project management software
 Excellent written, oral, and negotiation skills
 Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred, not
required)
 Open to entry-level candidates eager to grow
