Location: Boca Raton, FL (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Reports to: Director of Collateral
FGI Finance is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Collateral Analyst to join our high-performing Collateral Team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of collateral reporting across our growing loan portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the center of our financial operations, interfacing directly with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct thorough weekly reviews of client collateral submissions and escalate any discrepancies or unusual activity
- Communicate directly with clients to resolve inconsistencies in collateral reporting
- Analyze borrower trends and provide insights on collateral performance
- Perform “accounts receivable” verifications with clients’ customers to ensure reporting accuracy
- Support onboarding for new client facilities, ensuring proper collateral reporting processes are implemented
- Partner with Relationship Managers to support ongoing client inquiries and reporting needs
- Assist with day-to-day treasury services and transactional support
- Collaborate closely with team members to proactively monitor risk and performance across the portfolio
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in asset-based lending, commercial lending, trade finance, accounting, operations, audit, or collections
- Exposure to cash management or financial analytics a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
