Dog Resort Shift Leader
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and passionate dog professional to join our team as a Dog resort shift leader. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with Dogs understands Canine behavior, enjoys leading others, and takes pride and maintaining a safe organized and professional environment as a shift leader you will help oversee daily Kennel operations supervise Dog groups assist with staff direction and ensure every dog receives exceptional care and attention. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires confidence handling dogs of all sizes and temperament while helping maintain high standards of care and safety responsibly handle and supervise dogs of all breeds sizes and temperament monitor Dog playgroups and Canine behavior assist with opening and closing procedures ensure feeding medication and care.
Support and guide Kennel team members during shifts maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility communicate effectively with management regarding Dogs, staff and daily operations, uphold company, safety standards and operating procedures qualifications professional experience working with Dogs required strong understanding of Canine, body, language and behavior, leadership experience, preferred reliable, punctual, and detail oriented comfortable working in a fast paced environment, able to lift 50 pounds and remain active throughout the day available to work weekends and holidays as needed. We are looking for someone who is calm under pressure, highly dependable takes initiative and genuinely loves working with dogs. The ideal candidate will lead by example maintain a positive attitude and help create an exceptional experience for both our dogs and the employees you are working with. Your schedule will be full-time. This position has the potential to grow into an assistant manager role for the right candidate.
