Position Summary

The HR Intern will support key initiatives within the department while gaining hands-on experience in a professional corporate environment. This internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real business challenges, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop valuable career skills.

Internship Project

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities, including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate communications. 
• Support onboarding and orientation activities for new hires. 
• Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events. 
• Maintain confidential HR records and assist with data entry and reporting. 
• Participate in HR projects focused on talent acquisition, employee experience, and process improvement. 
• Assist with internship program activities and networking events. 
• Partner with HR team members on special projects and presentations. 
• Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. 
• Rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. 
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Preferred

• Previous leadership experience through campus organizations, volunteer work, or employment. 
• Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. 
• Experience working on team projects and collaborating with others.
