Agriculture Sustainability Technician Intern

Job Summary:

Bartlett, a Savage Company, is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual that exhibits strong analytical and communication skills. Sustainable agriculture has never been as prominent as it is today. The Agriculture Sustainability Technician Intern will primarily focus on the development and retention of agronomic relationships with producers, analyze agronomic practices, knowledgably provide agronomic recommendations and report on analysis.

Qualifications:

·       Collegiate Major in Agronomy, Crop Science or closely related field

·       Knowledgeable of computer operations; able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

·       Strong analytical skillset

·       Capable of writing and orally presenting reports to all levels of internal management

·       Ability to work well in a Team environment

·       Possesses good people skills, relationship management

·       Innovative and forward-thinking with project development

·       Able to prioritize tasks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Perform job tasks in a safe manner in compliance with Bartlett safety programs and procedures

·       Willing to travel to our Midwest locations and work with producers

·       Work with producers to analyze current agronomic practices and provide recommendations for improvement

·       Document and upload agronomic data into analysis software

·       Aid in report preparation to all levels of management and external Customers

·       Help with other program responsibilities as necessary
