Cider Production & Packaging Associate

Come make cider with us.

Saro Cider is a small craft cidery in Lincoln, Nebraska, making cider for people who like their apples a little less predictable.

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our production team. You don't need to know everything about cider—we can teach you that. We do need someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, doesn't mind getting their hands dirty, and understands that great cider starts with great attention to detail.

What you'll do:

  • Assist with cider production and fermentation
  • Operate and clean production and packaging equipment
  • Bottle and can cider
  • Move ingredients and finished product
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area
  • Follow recipes, production procedures and sanitation practices
  • Help with inventory and other day-to-day production needs
  • Maintain safety and health standards for self and co-workers
  • Learn and use cidery software to track production and inventory use
  • Weekly deliveris in Lincoln and Omaha
  • Occasional participation in the community at tastings and sampling events
  • Learn more about cider making as you grow into the role

What we're looking for:

  • Reliable and dependable
  • Comfortable working with your hands
  • Able to learn equipment and follow procedures
  • Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to cleanliness and quality
  • Comfortable lifting and being on your feet during a shift (regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 70 lbs.)
  • Previous manufacturing, food production, brewing, winemaking, restaurant or warehouse experience is helpful—but not required
  • Applicant must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license
  • A good attitude and willingness to learn

Why Saro?

We're small enough that your work actually matters. You'll learn how cider is made from the ground up and work alongside a team that cares about making something genuinely good.

If you're looking for a job where you can learn a trade, make something people enjoy, and occasionally go home smelling vaguely like apples, we'd like to meet you.

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Flexible schedule
  • Training
  • Potential for growth within the company

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday – Friday
  • Occasional weekend event work; once/month or less
