Quality Assurance Consultant

We are looking for a Quality & Assurance Consultant to support Savencia/Valrhona in quality management, regulatory compliance, packaging requirements, and quality assurance activities.

The primary objective of this mission is to establish sustainable support for compliance-related activities and ensure that the company’s quality processes, documentation, and regulatory obligations are properly monitored and maintained.

A key focus of the role will be coordinating and preparing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) declarations, particularly those relating to packaging placed on the market.

The consultant will primarily support:

  • Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and packaging declarations
  • Quality documentation and process improvement
  • Internal, customer, and third-party audits
  • Customer complaints, non-conformities, and corrective actions
  • Supplier-related quality matters
  • Compliance records, reporting, and deadline tracking
  • Coordination with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service

Work Arrangement

  • Remote opportunity
  • Candidates must be based in the United States
  • Approximately 15 hours per week
  • Flexible working hours, provided deadlines and deliverables are respected
  • A minimum of one hour per week must be scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time for coordination with the Company. 
  • Occasional travel may be required, approximately twice per year or as needed

Contract Status

This is a part-time independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position. The selected consultant will be engaged under an independent contractor agreement. Contract terms, including compensation, will be confirmed with the selected candidate.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or relevant education in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Food Science, or a related field
  • Ideally 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, or a related area
  • Knowledge of quality systems, food safety, packaging compliance, or EPR requirements is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and document information from multiple sources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and a proactive mindset

Training or certification in HACCP, GMP, food safety, quality management systems, or regulatory compliance would be a plus.
